The Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics (PCWP) at Chatham University is a non–partisan center devoted to fostering women’s public leadership through education, empowerment, and action.
We are the primary site for civic engagement for the Chatham community and the primary data collector for women in Pennsylvania politics.
PCWP student programs are open to all Chatham University students.

Our Educational Programs
PCWP exists because of the sizable gender gap in Pennsylvania’s elected leaders, and we offer educational programs to teach women the skills necessary to be successful in public life.
The mission of the center is to increase women’s influence and leadership in public life in Pennsylvania and improve the quality of women’s lives by providing them with educational and training opportunities in politics and public policy.

The Pennsylvania Center for Women & Politics hosts numerous events every year, many of which are open for free to the public.
